QuiText appeared on CNN's American Morning recently in a piece covering the how cell phone technology is being used to address health issues in new an innovative ways. During the article, CNN correspondent Veronica De La Cruz talked about text messaging being used for medical alerts, prescription reminders and, of course, help with quitting smoking. With the ever growing popularity of text messages in the United States De La Cruz stated, "It's fast. It's cheap. It's private" and here at QuiText, we couldn't agree more.
QuiText is excited to announce the launch of it's quit smoking text message service in Japan from today. After success in Europe and Australasia expansion into Japan means that the QuiText service is now available to an additional 33 million smokers through their mobile phones.
